Job Description

The Role

The Veterinary Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing a defined territory within Kenya.

This role requires consistent field engagement, account development, and driving product movement across agrovet outlets and veterinary channels.

Key responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate has:

You should be comfortable engaging retailers, veterinary professionals, and livestock stakeholders in a,professional and credible manner.

2 to 4 years of field sales experience in Agrovet, Animal Health, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or related,sectors

A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Good understanding of Kenya’s livestock and agrovet market

Strong follow-up habits and organized territory planning

Visiting agrovets and animal health outlets consistently

Opening new retail accounts and securing first purchase orders

Maintaining and growing existing accounts

Building professional relationships with veterinarians and breeders

Negotiating shelf space and improving product visibility

Monitoring competitor activity within the territory

Submitting structured daily and weekly field reports

Driving repeat business through follow-up and relationship management

Skills and Competencies

A Diploma or Degree in Animal Health, Veterinary Medicine, Agribusiness, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
