Job Description
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) located at Pine Bluff Arsenal. This position serves as a Utility Systems Operator in charge of gas or oil fired boiler plants for the steam and air branch.
Manage gas and oil fired boiler plants.
Adjusts fire tube, water tube boilers, and auxiliary equipment.
Roving responsibility for checking high pressure plants and low pressure heating plants that are in operation.
Reading various gages and meters to assure boilers are operating efficiently.
Operates heavy duty air compressors.
