Shop Planner (Prod Machinery Mech)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position Plans maintenance workflow, schedules machine repairs, coordinates resources, and ensures efficient readiness of production machinery.

Review work orders that are prepared and issued by Planners and Estimators.

Initiate procurement of material by preparing requisitions for materials.

Advise Maintenance Scheduler, Planners, and Estimators when material is available, ordered and provide estimated delivery dates.

Maintain major suppliers catalogs to ensure catalogs contain current information.
