Seeking to hire a Medical Social Worker for our esteemed client within the public healthcare sector!
Work Hours: 5 days office hours
Acute setting under public healthcare sector (West region)
Annual AWS + Performance Bonus (up to 4 months)
Responsibilities:
Provide psychosocial support to patients with special needs and their families through casework, counselling, and therapeutic group interventions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic and integrated care for patients.
Actively participate in case discussions, care planning, and family conferences.
Engage in practice research and quality improvement projects to enhance clinical social work standards.
Requirements:
A degree in Social Work or a Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
A post-graduate qualification in Counselling or Family Therapy is advantageous.
Competence in IT applications and documentation systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team.
