Job Description

Responsibilities
Receive, label and analyse samples per standard procedures; interpret and present findings
Record all data and results accurately, on paper and electronically
Store chemicals, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions
Maintain equipment, daily logs and record books; assist with ordering supplies
Follow all safety guidelines strictly and keep a clean, orderly environment
Requirements
BSc in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field
Valid laboratory technician licence
Proven experience as a lab technician, including lab equipment and potentially hazardous substances
Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
Experience of working in a QC and R&D laboratory setting (desirable)
Understanding of complex laboratory machinery and related computer programs (desirable)
