Job Description
  • Responsibilities
  • Transfer patients safely and courteously around the hospital; respond promptly to pagers
  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors; address concerns professionally
  • Keep wheelchairs at central collection points and the emergency bed fully prepared
  • Direct patients to destinations around the hospital and provide information during visiting hours
  • Perform mortuary duties as prescribed, handling handovers to relatives with empathy
  • Manage seating and flow at admissions and registration points to improve turnaround times
  • Requirements
  • Form V plus a relevant customer-service qualification or First Aid certificate
  • 0-2 years’ experience in a hospital or customer-service environment
