Junior Technical Support Engineer
Work mode: On-site · Location: Mombasa, Kenya · Schedule: Full Time.
Job Description
This is an opportunity for an engineer who can bridge the gap between engineering teams, sales teams, project teams and clients while providing practical technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
2–4 years of active, verified experience in renewable energy or power plants
Valid EPRA Class C1 licence
Proficiency in AutoCAD or electrical simulation tools
Experience developing BOQs, technical proposals, engineering drawings and schematics
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
The role will involve technical design, customer support, site surveys, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and technical oversight of transformers, switchboards, LV boards and smart metering systems.
