IT SPECIALIST (ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA ACQC/TRANSPORT.

Leads the development and adoption of automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence across the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Operational Support System (OSS) enabling the command and control of the DISN.

Manages and coordinates the overall DISN technology framework and technical leadership supporting data on-boarding and storage, analytics and machine learning, capability delivery and multi-platform federation.

Leads the long-range planning and development of network management strategy for adoption and integration of vendor-specific tooling supporting the command and control of the DISN.

Researches and evaluates network management tools and integration into the data architecture framework supporting the automation and modernization of the DISN OSS.
