Facilities and Equipment Management Specialist

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position serves the facilities coordinator for project activities and oversees the facilities assets, equipment and maintenance programs to ensure operational requirements.

Evaluate job orders, plans, and estimating data to determine trade skill availability and meet project deadlines.

Establish start and projected completion date for each work order execution.

Authorize work request within delegated approval limits and routes those to the appropriate officials.

Coordinate with all organizational elements for work activities with available manpower, materials, and facilities.

Apply comprehensive knowledge of construction principles and techniques to evaluate facility utilization and project requirements.
