Dispatch Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Supervise daily dispatch operations and co-ordinate delivery schemes.* Co-ordinate with production, sales and customers.* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dispatch reports.* Work in conjunction with the quality control section so that jobs are inspected before delivery.* Close the dockets that are supplied in full quality.* Record jobs in the daily return/output form and in works register.* Efficient dispatching of jobs.* Compile the daily output form.* Daily supervision of subordinates.

Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Minimum of Five (5) ‘O’ Levels including English Language.* Two (2) years’ experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations.* Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and dispatch operations.* Ability to work under pressure.* Proficiency in computers is an added advantage.* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
