Without Compensation (WOC) - Research Statistician

This is a Without Compensation (WOC) Research Statistician position with the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The VA Research Program strives to promote Veteran-centered care to improve patient experiences and outcomes across VA healthcare and community settings, and to advance value-driven care by providing Veterans the highest quality care at the lowest financial burden.

This is a Without Compensation (WOC) Research Statistician position with the Office of Research and Development (ORD). Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Using statistical and database computer programs to construct and manage datasets and databases relevant to projects; Checking the validity of data and programs through use of frequencies, listings, summaries, and calculation of meaningful data metrics; Conducting univariate and multivariate statistical data analyses; and multivariate regression analyses using ordinary least squares, logistic, and survival models; Reviewing analytical results for accuracy and completeness; and coding and summarizing data in tables and graphs; Developing and maintaining systems and databases designed to ensure that research projects comply with administrative policies, procedures and requirements set forth by entities.

Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959. Subject to background/security investigation. Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
