Responsibilities:
Examine animals (ruminant animals) to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Conduct surgical procedures.
Prescribe medications and vaccinations.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress.
Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, blood work).
Provide preventative care (e.g., vaccinations, parasite control).
Educate clients on animal care and health.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Collaborate with other veterinarians and veterinary staff.
Requirements:
Veterinary Inspection and Animal Health Assessment skills Strong knowledge of livestock welfare and health standards Experience in regulatory compliance and inspection procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field Certification in Animal Welfare or Veterinary Inspection is a plus
