Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP.
Prepare, verify, and post accounting entries for sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly.
Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
Track inventory and ensure proper valuation in coordination with store and production teams.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Support statutory compliance, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings.
Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial records and company information.
Requirements:
Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Remuneration:
NGN 250,000 - 300,000
