SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to: Serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, direction, organization, and exercising control over non-supervisory employees assigned to monitor quality and compliance of C-17 aircraft on and off equipment maintenance, scheduled aircraft inspections, component repair and testing, and aircraft fabrication support. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 62d Maintenance Squadron's Quality Assurance, ensuring that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of C-17A aircraft and associated off equipment components, engines, structural components, support equipment, munitions, and calibration equipment complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets AMC needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the 62d Maintenance Group with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Perform administrative responsibilities: Verify, record, and maintain all documentation related to the aircraft quality maintenance within the 62d Maintenance Squadron. Performs work planning responsibilities. Performs work direction responsibilities.
