Supervisory Physician (Internal Medicine)

About the Position:This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Army Medical Center Madigan, located at Tacoma, Washington .This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Advanced in Hire may be authorized for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Provide first contact, continuous, and comprehensive primary care for adults. Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and quality assurance activities as assigned. Lead a multi-disciplinary team of individuals who collectively take responsibility for the ongoing care of patients. Examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of medical, surgical, obstetric, gynecological, and orthopedic care. Supervise other health care providers as assigned. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
