Supervisory Nurse (Occupational Health)

About the Position: This position is located at 78th Medical Group at Robins Air Force Base, Houston County, Georgia. It is located near the city of Warner Robins, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Incentives MAY be authorized.

Direct occupational health nursing operations by planning, organizing, and evaluating clinical programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, DoD, Air Force, and Joint Commission requirements while achieving organizational objectives. Manage occupational health services by assessing employee health needs, providing evidence-based nursing care, coordinating multidisciplinary treatment plans, and ensuring safe return-to-work and medical surveillance processes. Develop clinical policies and performance measures by interpreting regulatory guidance, conducting self-inspections, analyzing program outcomes, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and operational efficiency. Coordinate occupational health programs by collaborating with military leaders, industrial hygiene, safety, public health, civilian healthcare partners, and community agencies to resolve complex clinical and workplace health issues. Supervise nursing personnel by assigning work, evaluating performance, mentoring staff, managing staffing resources, resolving employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with EEO, safety, and security requirements. Maintain medical readiness by overseeing staff competency, emergency preparedness, disaster response, infection prevention, continuing education, and required clinical certifications.
