Supervisory IT Specialist (Network)

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 93rd SIG BD located at Fort Eustis.

Reviews NETCOM, Major Army Command (MACOM), and Army Command (ACOM) requirement documents to ensure compatibility and interoperability and ensures successful migration of new information systems into the joint communications system environment.

Coordinates and discusses technical modernization initiatives of multiple information systems and technical applications with Brigade and Network Enterprise Centers (NEC), and 7th SC to obtain acceptance of system fielding plans

Represents the brigade at conferences, meetings, working groups, and professional seminars concerning solutions of specific programs.

Plans and coordinates total systems engineering, implementation, and integration efforts on behalf of the command.

Assigns work based on priorities, requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees.

Monitors the work progress of the teams within the Division to assure program integration objectives are met, making necessary technical adjustments to accomplish program direction.
