SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

About the Position: Serves as the Chief of the Furnishings Branch, Housing Division, located at USAG Humphreys, who oversees all branch operations and manages furnishings and appliances for Army housing. Directs subordinates, supervises, assigns, reviews and prioritizes work of subordinates, and provides advice on technical and administrative matters

Hears and resolves employee grievances and serious employee complaints

Reviews and approves serious disciplinary actions (e.g., suspensions and removals) involving employees of the unit.

Makes decisions on training needs and requests related to employees of the unit.

Assigns, reviews and prioritizes work of Subordinates, and provides advice on technical and administrative matters

Applies seasoned and analytical judgment when providing services and resolving problems in the management

Establishes schedules for and supervises cyclic inventories and the signing of hand receipts for 405 hand receipt holders.

Develops plan for fulfilling projected requirements for out years based on installation realignments, and/or movement of units.

Prepares or ensures preparation of recurring and special reports.

Implements and manages the effectiveness, scheduling and planning of the furnishings supply programs direction and policy
