Senior Accountant

Job Purpose

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supervising accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial recording, reporting, and compliance with institutional financial policies and accounting standards. The position supports the Chief Accountant in overseeing financial accounting processes, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring effective internal financial controls. The role contributes to sound financial management by ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts, compliance with statutory requirements, and accurate reporting of financial transactions.

Qualifications Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

Professional Qualifications / Membership

Certified Public Accountant (Part II and above); membership with a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

Relevant Work Experience

4 years' relevant experience in accounting or financial management, including 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
