Public Affairs Specialist

About the Position: This position is with the 15th Medical Group at JBPHH-Hickam, located on Hickam AFB in Hawaii.

Serve as the primary liaison between the MTF and Higher Headquarters Public Affairs offices. Coordinate responses to media and patient community inquiries, review all public release materials for operational security (OPSEC) and HIPAA compliance, and support base-wide community engagement events. Serve as the consolidation and analysis authority for critical Higher Headquarters (HHQ) taskers, reports, and public-facing information products. Provide direct operational and calendar management support for the MTF Director, Deputy Director, and Senior Enlisted Leader. Coordinate and track the status of high-level staff actions and projects, supporting both short- and long-range planning and integration for the Command Group. Act as the primary point of contact and billing official for the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program for the MTF Group Staff, ensuring full compliance with all financial regulations and procurement procedures.
