Job Description

About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Patrol roadways, parking lots, or high traffic areas to check for security concerns.

Detain violators of laws, regulations, policies, rules, or posted warnings.

Assist with investigation into traffic accidents, incidents, property loss or damage, or injury.

Generate police reports, forms, and records in compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Perform physical security functions to safeguard personnel, property, and VIP visitors.

Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic according to security guard protocol.
