Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage, and piping systems.
Install plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, pumps, and faucets.
Read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
Replace damaged pipes, valves, fittings, and other plumbing components.
Diagnose plumbing faults and identify the root cause of leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and other issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Repair burst pipes, clogged drains, faulty fixtures, and other plumbing defects.
Test plumbing systems after installation or repair to ensure proper operation.
Ensure all plumbing work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures while carrying out assigned tasks.
Use plumbing tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and materials used.
Prepare service reports and communicate repair recommendations to supervisors or clients.
Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and maintenance requests.
Provide courteous and professional service to clients and building occupants.
Requirements:
Minimum of SSCE, Technical Certificate, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent vocational qualification in Plumbing or a related trade.
Proven Years of practical experience as a Plumbing Technician.
Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage systems, pumps, and sanitary installations.
Ability to read plumbing drawings and technical manuals.
Experience using plumbing tools and equipment safely.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors when required.
