Job Description

About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Physicians Assistant in the Plastic Surgery Department at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Provide wound care on a routine and emergency basis. Develop treatment plans. Evaluate diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within authorized privileges. Coordinate patient care with other team members including nursing, clerical, pharmacy, social worker, etc. Assist with surgeries.
