Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory)

About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive MAY be authorized. Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience MAY be creditable for leave purposes. Student Loan repayment MAY be authorized

Provide individualized instructions to effectively communicate the plan of care and evaluate response. Set-up and operate specialized equipment and monitors, such as IV pumps, pulseoximetry, defibrillator, suction, and nebulizer treatments. Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to patients with chronic or acute conditions. Use nasal-pharyngeal and gastric suction, gastrostomy tubes as well as other drains, as required. Assist providers with exams and procedures as needed.
