Job Description
Location: Remote / Work From Home (Supporting Australia-based Client)
Schedule: Australian Business Hours (AEST/AEDT)
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Role Overview
Are you a detail-oriented administrative professional with a deep understanding of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)?
We are looking for a proactive NDIS Admin & Rostering Specialist to support an Australian-based healthcare provider.
This is a critical role where you will manage the heartbeat of the business: the roster.
You will ensure that every shift is compliant, every claim is accurate, and every participant's plan is managed with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Expert Rostering: Coordinate and manage staff rosters, ensuring all shifts are covered and aligned with participant needs.
Compliance & Auditing: Review and approve shifts by verifying progress notes, shift times, and claim/line numbers against NDIS requirements.
Billing & Payroll Prep: Ensure all data is "audit-ready" for billing and payroll processing to prevent payment delays.
Plan Management Support: Read and interpret NDIS plans to ensure service delivery stays within budget and scope.
Client Communication: Handle professional email correspondence and phone inquiries with a high level of empathy and clarity.
System Management: Utilize NDIS-specific software (e.g., ShiftCare, Hireup, or similar) and quickly adapt to new tech features and updates.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
NDIS Expertise: Proven experience working within the NDIS framework. You must understand the NDIS Price Guide, line items, and claim numbers.
Clinical/Admin Literacy: Ability to read and extract necessary data from NDIS Plans.
Superior Communication: Fluent written and verbal English skills are essential for interacting with Australian clients and stakeholders.
Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in cloud-based tools and the ability to learn new software features rapidly.
Attention to Detail: A "eagle eye" for compliance—you spot a missing progress note or a wrong line item instantly.
Home Office Setup: A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for professional calls.
Excellent communication skill, problem solving skills and critical thinking skills.
