About the Position: This position in located at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), in Tacoma, WA.
Provide transportation services within a healthcare environment. Operate a shuttle van to safely transport patients, staff, and visitors. Manage the storage, loading and unloading, and security of materials and equipment. Perform emergency repairs on one or more types of automotive vehicles. Provides customer assistance to any visitors and answers phones when not involved in linen duties Receives linen for cleaning, storage and/or issue from commercial laundry vendors and outlying clinics. Stores clean linen on linen shelves or other designated areas Accurately count and identify linen to fulfill linen orders. Accurately complete linen inventories by identifying and counting linen items.
