Mental Health Case Manager

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune in North Carolina within the Directorate of Mental Health. Incumbent will serve as an expert mental health case manager and member of a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Facilitate optimal patient outcomes by aligning treatment plans with the unique needs of each patient. Design timeline-based care protocols that ensure high-quality, cost-effective healthcare for patients and beneficiaries. Develop patient treatment plans that address all diagnosed conditions and health concerns. Evaluate patient behavior and responses to update treatment plans in consultation with the healthcare team. Coordinate medical services needed to optimize the current health of the patient. Develop strategies to improve healthcare access and reduce administrative barriers.
