Medical Support Assistant (OA)

About the Position: This position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center in various departments. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.

Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact in person or telephonically. Enter, manipulate, and/or retrieve information and data from various automated systems. Resolve complaints of a local administrative nature and refer other complaints to appropriate authorities. Maintain both electronic and paper patient records. Coordinate and/or schedule patient appointments with various clinics or at other medical treatment facilities.
