Job Description

About the Position: The Medical Records Technician position is located at Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Review outpatient treatment/health records to verify that all components of the record are present and filed in proper sequence. Obtain information from new patients to create the medical records and file contents. Scan medical documents into hospital's database to allow prompt access to information by care providers. Contact customers to obtain, clarify, or exchange information.
