Job Description
About the Position: This position performs maintenance and repair of lock and dam equipment and floating plant machinery. Responsibilities include equipment repair, abrasive blasting, painting, deckhand duties, and operating heavy machinery. The work ensures safe and reliable operation of waterway infrastructure through skilled trade practices and teamwork in field site environments.
Maintain and repair lock and dam operating equipment.
Perform abrasive blast cleaning on structures and machinery.
Apply protective paint coatings by spray and brush.
Conduct deckhand duties including rigging and mooring boats.
Operate heavy equipment supporting maintenance tasks.
