Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory tests and analyses accurately in line with clinical protocols.

Collect, process and handle patient specimens safely.

Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of results.

Adhere to infection control, biosafety and quality assurance standards.

 Requirements:

Diploma/Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences

Valid KMLTTB practising licence

Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification clinical laboratory experience

Proficiency in routine and specialised testing, including haematology, biochemistry and microbiology

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
