IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN)

About the Position: This position is located at the 75th Medical Group, Hill Air Force Base in Utah. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Plan, organize and direct cyber IT Information Security (INFOSEC) that comply with legal, regulatory requirements to meet mission and customer needs. Design, develop, and manage systems that meet business requirements. Ensure integration of cyber, IT, INFOSEC or Information Knowledge Management (IM) programs and services to develop solutions to the integration/interoperability issues. Coordinate with project managers to ensure local application meets mission/project requirements. Make recommendations to leadership regarding support to cyber, IT, INFOSEC, or IM needs and enhancements. Serve as a member of the Executive Oversight Committee and direct the Medical Information Security Readiness Team on computer systems, network issues, and electronic transactions. Perform supervisory personnel management responsibilities, lead your unit on all assigned activities, and review work of subordinates. Develop contingency plans for computer emergency response, backup, and recovery operations.
