IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support Direct Hire Authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will serve as Lead Information Systems Security Officer for multiple Acquisition Program Integrated-Product Teams (IPT) and or research Development Test and Engineering Laboratories.

You will lead and guide other Cybersecurity personnel within the IPT/Labs to ensure information systems (IS) or platform information technology (PIT) systems are in compliance with DoD/Navy Cybersecurity policies and instructions.

You will ensure Cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into all phases of the acquisition, upgrade, or modification programs, including initial design, development, testing, fielding, and operation/sustainment.

You will develop plans for the information or platform IT system assessment and authorization, evaluate assessments, recommend appropriate corrective action when deficiencies are identified and prepare required reports.

You will ensure the development, review, endorsement and maintenance of cybersecurity for the assessment and approval documentation in accordance with DoD and DON policy for all applications, networks, and/or stand-alone systems.
