Job Description
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Oversee the conduct of the Operations Support section ensuring the G3 Operations Director maintains Situational Understanding of current operations.
Provide advice to G33, G3-OD, and G3 leaders on the command's Operations Command and Control and ensure best practices are followed.
Oversee the assigning of missions and the day to day administrative tasking to subordinate elements.
