Job Description

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located in the Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI. Serve as Senior Information Technology Specialist (Network/Customer Support) and is a member of a server team, responsible for all servers at the FTDTL.

Monitor the ongoing operation of the network.

Perform complete network system backups and/or restore procedures.

Provide assistance and guidance to users on technical aspects of network AD and office automation hardware and software requirements.

Assist the Network Security and Information Assurance Officer for area LAN.

Provide technical assistance to customers to minimize disruptions of computer operations.

Ensure contact and coordination with vendors on GSA or DOD requirement contracts to ensure compliance.
