HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALIST

About the Position: This position is with Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Directorate of Nursing Operating Rooms in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.

Plan, direct, analyze, and coordinate administrative activities within the clinic as directed by Group Practice Manager. Identify the need for analyses, reports, and statistical data. Establish operating policies to implement administrative management and personnel matters. Provide guidance to and answers inquiries concerning the interpretation and application of regulations and policies. Ensure compliance with regulations and policies that support the mission, functions, organization structure, and key personnel program responsibilities to assure essential services are maintained. Develop, prepare, and obtain statistical and narrative input on assigned programs in support of management reports/review and analysis/suspense actions. Provide budget and accounting expertise and support to interpret financial information and applies accounting concepts to analyze data and advise the Clinic Group Practice Manager of deviations from managed plans. to identity financial trends which may have adverse effects; to make cost projections on short and long-term basis; and to provide the Group Practice Manager with financial data which will impact on policy and program changes.
