Responsibilities:
Instruction and Planning:
Create detailed lesson plans and produce educational materials suited to the specific age group's learning styles.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Grade assignments, administer tests, and maintain performance records to track student development and identify learning gaps.
Classroom Management:
Establish behavioral expectations and build a safe, respectful environment that maximizes student engagement and minimizes disruptions.
Pastoral Care and Mentorship:
Serve as a positive role model and guide students through personal development and conflict resolution.
Parent Communication:
Provide regular updates to parents and guardians regarding student progress through report cards, emails, or parent-teacher conferences.
Collaboration and Admin:
Attend grade-level team meetings, collaborate with support staff for students with special needs, and perform necessary administrative duties.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification of an NCE.
2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
