Job Description
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Plan and supervise broiler, layer, and hatchery production cycles Monitor daily production metrics (feed intake, FCR, mortality rate, egg production, hatchability)
Ensure proper housing, ventilation, lighting, and environmental control Maintain strict biosecurity and disease prevention measures
Financial & Performance Management:
Develop and manage farm budgets Control operational costs (feed, labor, medication, utilities)
Analyze performance data and prepare monthly production reports Identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction
Staff Supervision & Leadership:
Recruit, train, and supervise farm staff Develop work schedules and assign duties Enforce discipline, safety, and operational standards Conduct performance evaluations
Compliance & Biosecurity:
Ensure compliance with local agricultural and environmental regulations Maintain health and vaccination programs Coordinate with veterinarians and suppliers Implement disease outbreak response plans
Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight:
Oversee feed procurement and storage Monitor inventory of vaccines, equipment, and farm inputs Coordinate logistics for sales of eggs, birds, or chicks
Requirements:
Minimum BSC 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
