ELECTRONICS SHOP SUPERVISOR I

You will serve as a Electronics Shop Supervisor I In the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. You will provide input on the planning of current and future work schedules, budgets, and staffing needs; reviews assigned job orders, workload data, plans, specifications, sketches and instructions.

You will plan weekly/monthly work schedules and worker assignments to accomplish projects; plans sequence of work operations for subordinates and any special work methods to be used.

You will coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment, and assist with trade help required. Reviews and redirects resources as needed.

You will assign tasks, tools, equipment and materials to workers; lays out work for the group; interprets plans and instructions, as necessary; instructs workers on proper work methods, difficult work operations.

You will maintain records of subordinates' time and manhour charges to assigned job orders; work progress, accidents, injuries, and causes of these; and prepares reports as required.

You will attend training programs and supervisors' conferences and transmits information to subordinates.
