Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Support senior engineers in planning and executing electrical engineering projects.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and project monitoring activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in monitoring equipment performance and recommending improvements.
Support inventory management for electrical materials, tools, and spare parts.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
Participate in training sessions, mentoring programs, and continuous learning initiatives.
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
0–2 years of relevant work experience (industrial training or internship experience is an advantage).
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and electrical maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar tools is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and work both independently and as part of a team.
