EDUCATION SERVICES SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement, administer and advise on Voluntary Education opportunities, the Military Tuition Assistance (MilTA) program, career and force development programs, testing and other education and training services and activities available to military members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians and family members.

1. Provides individual career, academic and force development advisement to military personnel, dependents and civilian personnel pursuing Voluntary Education opportunities. 2. Serves as technical expert on a variety of Voluntary Education programs. Evaluate individual's potential and eligibility for programs including Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), commissioning and Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits. 3. Provides advisement and coordination on the Skill Bridge program. 4. Provides mass briefings and a variety of outreach and customer service duties. 5. Performs various administrative duties related to the Voluntary Education program.
