Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

Works independently performing routine, emergent, and specialized procedures with responsibility for protocols, patient care, and magnet safety. Receives and reviews requests from physicians and other health care providers for magnetic resonance imaging examinations of patients. Performs adult and pediatric magnetic resonance imaging of the heart to identify cardiac pathology. Independently establishes various parameters. Trains Graduate Medical Education (GME) radiology residents, non-radiologist physicians, 68Pstudents and other personnel in MRI principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques, and equipment.
