Branch Chief

The Division of Examinations is seeking a Supervisory Attorney-Adviser, SK-905-15 (Branch Chief) in the Technology Controls Program (TCP) and will be located in one of the listed locations. As a Branch Chief in the Cybersecurity Program Operations Branch within Technology Controls Program (TCP), you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for conducting examinations of entities subject to Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity (SCI).

In this role as a Branch Chief, you will be responsible for: Supervising and managing staff within the Branch including providing administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit; Assisting in the planning and conducting of IT security audits of financial industry participants; Providing expert advice and guidance on broad projects and programs with national impact related to SEC's Technology Controls program; Providing authoritative guidance related to the securities industry IT security programs; Developing policies, guidelines, and standards for the evaluation and monitoring of the securities markets' information technology ecosystems and governance; and Developing long-range plans for IT security systems that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize security risks associated with IT systems vulnerabilities.
