Manage IT assets and configuration items during service transitions and throughout their lifecycle
Develop and implement asset/configuration management strategies, policies, and procedures supporting transition projects
Ensure audit compliance for asset management, especially during onboarding/offboarding of services Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database like CMDB to reflect transitional changes accurately
Collaborate with transition, IT, and business teams to support change, incident, and problem management during service transitions
Analyze asset and configuration data throughout transitions, providing insights and improvement recommendations
Lead and mentor team members within the transition management function Liaise with vendors to ensure SLA compliance for asset procurement and disposal during transitions
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
5 or more years of experience in IT asset and configuration management, ideally with exposure to transition or transformation projects
Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework,certification preferred, with an understanding of transition management processes
Experience with CMDB tools e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy in transition environments
Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams during service transitions Relevant certifications such as ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000 are a plus;
Transition Management or Project Management certification is advantageous
