Accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA(K) or equivalent professional qualification

• 3–5 years’ accounting experience, including hotel/hospitality experience

• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Opera or SunSystems

• Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, VAT, PAYE, and statutory compliance

• Excellent analytical, Excel, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and monthly reconciliations

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions

• Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and statutory filings

• Monitor financial controls, transactions, and risk management processes

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities

• Supervise accounting staff and ensure timely financial processing
