Deleting your data on Saplic

Last updated: August 10, 2026

What data does Saplic hold about you?

When you create an account —by email, Facebook or Google— we store your name, email address, phone number (optional), resume and the jobs you applied to. If yours is a company account, also the openings you published, your candidates and any files you uploaded.

How to request deletion

Deletion is requested and carried out by us. There is no self-service button in the dashboard yet, and we would rather say so than have you hunt for one that does not exist. You have three channels, all equally valid:

  1. This page, which is the official procedure and the one that explains every step.
  2. An email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion", sent from the address registered on your account.
  3. WhatsApp on +503 2514-0552.

We do it within 30 days of receiving the request, and confirm by email once it is done.

What gets deleted?

Your name, email, phone, resume, professional profile, application history, alerts, messages and your Google or Facebook connections. If you are a company: your job postings, your candidates, the files you uploaded and your account data.

What may remain, and why

Only what a law requires us to keep —billing records for the applicable tax period, for example— and aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you. None of it is used to contact you.

Deletion through Facebook

If you connected your account with Facebook and then removed the app from your Facebook settings, we receive the deletion notice automatically. Your data is erased within 30 days with nothing further needed from you.
